Who we are

The job hunt is broken. We built something else.

Right now, looking for trade work usually means the same grind: scrolling hundreds of postings, applying to dozens, and hoping. Most of those applications get filtered out by hiring software before a person ever sees them, or they land in a crowded HR inbox and quietly disappear. On the other side, employers post one opening and get buried under a hundred CVs — most not even a real fit — while the right person gets lost in the pile. We think that's backwards, so we built the opposite.

Is this real?

Yes. We're building a real database of HVAC, refrigeration, and diesel/heavy-equipment technicians across Europe so that real employers looking to hire can reach people who actually fit, instead of posting a listing and hoping the right person sees it. There's no job board here to browse — this page exists to build that list, starting with you.

Why would I do this instead of just applying to job postings?

You don't have to choose one or the other. This isn't a replacement for applying to jobs you find yourself — it's a second, passive path: once you're in, companies with a real opening that matches what you told us can reach out to you directly, without you having to go looking again. No guarantee it happens fast, or at all — but it costs you nothing but the couple of minutes it took to sign up.

Does a real person see my profile?

Yes — a real person reviews every profile before it's ever used for anything. Nothing here auto-matches you to a job or makes any decision about you.

What happens to my information?

We only use what you tell us to match you with real openings that fit — see for the full detail on what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

How we use your info

As you build your profile, you'll tell us things like your trade, where you're based, how much experience you have, any certifications, and what you're looking for right now. If you tell us it's okay (we'll ask, before we ask for your email), we save that along with your email so we can keep you in mind as real employer openings come in. A real person reviews every profile before it's ever used for anything — nothing here auto-matches you to a job or makes any decision about you.

Where your info is stored

Once you say yes and give us your email, your answers are saved to a database we manage (not a shared inbox, and not sold or handed to any employer, advertiser, or other third party). We're keeping this for up to 12 months from when you sign up, so we can keep considering you as openings come in, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

Want your information deleted, or want to see what we have on file? Email us at privacy@hardhat-and-hustle.example with the email address you signed up with, and we'll look it up in our system and delete or send it to you. This is a real, manual step someone here does when asked, not an automatic self-serve tool yet — we'll honor it either way.

One more thing, plainly

Hardhat & Hustle does not currently have a registered legal presence or a designated representative in the European Union. We're saying this directly rather than leaving it out: if you're an EU resident, this is a real, open gap in how a company handling your data would normally be expected to be structured under EU law, and we haven't resolved it yet. We're not hiding it from you.
